HEALING GARDENS AS A MEANS OF EMPOWERMENT FOR VULNERABLE WOMEN

Healing gardens have long been recognized as a powerful tool for promoting physical and mental health and well-being. In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the benefits of healing gardens for vulnerable women, and the role they can play in unlocking skills and empowering these women to lead more fulfilling lives.

Vulnerable women often face a range of challenges that can impact their mental and physical health, including poverty, abuse, and social isolation. Healing gardens provide a safe and supportive space for these women to connect with nature, relax, and engage in therapeutic activities.

Within this context Green Health project has completed its third deliverable. Training modules for educators, learners and vulnerable women that are involved in the training path, acquiring the basic skills and competences. At the same time this  3rd project result comprises a practical tool for adult educators and organizations to support education and inclusion of these women through designing and setting up healing gardens and through activities of self-production.

One of the key benefits of the training modules is the opportunity they provide for skill-building and personal development.  The activities can help them to build confidence, improve physical health, and increase self-esteem.

In conclusion, this project will be a powerful tool for unlocking skills and empowering vulnerable women to lead more fulfilling lives. By providing a safe and supportive space for personal growth and development, healing GREEN HEALTH can help to build confidence, improve physical and mental health, and foster a sense of community and belonging.
