Municipality of Larissa
Our company has an established Collaboration with the Municipality, the Chamber of Commerce of Larissa and the Youth Council of Municipality of Larissa to promote innovation and economic development in the region. The partnership has resulted in the creation of several initiatives, such as mentoring programs, and networking events, all aimed at promoting the growth of the local economy. Through this collaboration, these organizations have been able to leverage their resources and expertise to create a supportive ecosystem for people to thrive and contribute to the development of their community.
Be My Eyes
Our team is also volunteering through Be My Eyes application that connects vision impaired and low-vision people with volunteers and company representatives for visual assistance through a live video call. This innovation was a significant milestone in promoting accessibility in technology and making it possible for more people to benefit from the Be My Eyes app. Through its participation in the Be My Eyes application, Innovation Hive demonstrated its commitment to using technology for the greater good and making a positive impact on people's lives.
University of Thessaly
Innovation Hive is closely collaborating with the Business Management Department of the University of Thessaly. Together, we aim to empower students and alumni by offering them access to comprehensive training and valuable mentoring resources. The focus of this partnership is to cultivate a culture of innovation and drive growth and development. By providing support and opportunities, the collaboration seeks to enable a greater number of University of Thessaly students and alumni to make a positive and meaningful impact on society.
European Network
The European Network of Innovation for Inclusion is a collaborative initiative that brings together stakeholders, policymakers, and experts to promote inclusive innovation and social entrepreneurship across Europe. It aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among its members to address the challenges faced by marginalized communities and promote social inclusion. Innovation Hive participates as a member in this community, by promoting entrepreneurship, social innovation, and digital inclusion through the development of innovative solutions.
European Inventors Week
Our Organisation also participates and supports the European Inventor’s Week network contributing to the network’s campaigns and dissemination in Greece. Its main goal is to effectively raise awareness regarding the need for innovation in the EU. During the European Inventors Week, Innovation Hive organized a range of activities, such as webinars, and online discussions to highlight the role of patents in fostering innovation and supporting economic growth. The event provides a unique opportunity for inventors to network and collaborate with industry experts, investors, and other innovators.
Kafsimo
Innovation Hive actively participates in the Kafsimo initiative, as a promoter of this groundbreaking community-based project of InCommon, which collects used coffee grounds from cafes in Greece and converts them into clean biofuel. With Innovation Hive's participation in the Kafsimo project, the initiative was able to raise awareness in the city of Larissa promoting sustainable practices and contributing to the development of a more responsible coffee industry in Greece.
