By harnessing the potential of technology, these platforms empower CCS professionals to forge meaningful connections, foster collaboration, and revolutionize the consumer experience.
Aligned with this, the DiGiPORT project represents an innovative and forward-thinking initiative aimed at supporting professionals and artists working in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS). By equipping adult trainers and adult education organizations with the necessary tools, the project seeks to foster the development of essential digital and entrepreneurial skills. The ultimate goal is to enhance sustainability, resilience, and adaptability in the face of challenges and crises. Furthermore, the DiGiPORT project seeks to establish a pan-European online platform, providing CCS professionals and artists with an opportunity to showcase their work and engage with their target audiences through digital pop-up shops.
In this context the beginning of the Ignite Phase of the DiGiPORT Hackathon has been initiated. In this phase, a hybrid workshop is being organized that will serve as an informative and interactive platform for participants in the CCS to share their ideas, collaborate, and gain the opportunity to create their own pop-up shop on DiGiPORT’s platform. The workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the DiGiPORT project, highlighting its mission to empower CCS professionals and artists through skill development and the establishment of a pan-European online platform. Participants will have the chance to engage with industry experts, explore best practices, and learn about the tools and resources available to enhance their digital and entrepreneurial prowess. Moreover, the workshop will serve as an open forum for participants to exchange ideas, network, and seek inspiration from like-minded individuals in the CCS. Through interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities, share success stories, and gain valuable insights from their peers and mentors.
